Hey HN,

Early this year I decided to build myself a spreadsheet to track and analyze stocks. I shared it on Reddit and people really liked it, upvoting my posts ~20k times, so we decided to build something better.

After months of hard work we launched FINLO - https://www.finlo.io/

It’s an investment research platform built to modernize and optimize the process of stock tracking, research, due diligence and financial analysis.

We launched in June and things have been going really well! Our current focus is user feedback rather than growth. I talk to users daily to gain insight on what they like, what they dislike and what’s missing from the platform.

So I'd love to hear your feedback, good and bad so that we can keep improving the platform!

We offer a 7-day free trial, no credit card or anything like that needed.

The price is pretty good for the data alone, especially if you can export it.

Pro: Someone can export data and mix in their own algo or do their own technical analysis

Con: Are you allowed to resell/give away the data in this manner? May not matter since so many others have similar data but just curious.

Finally: I see the platform has a lot of technicals, but the fundamental sources are: analyst estimates and sentiment feeds? Still very good for the price, but it would be very interesting to see some source of analyst reports just to get a sense of the company.

I appreciate the positive feedback and input!

Data Export: Currently our Pro users can export annual and quarterly financial statements going back 30+ years and we're working on allowing chart data export.

Our license does permit redistribution so we could look into further export options fit for algo-trading.

Actually we focus more on fundamental analysis, with some of our fundamental data features being:

- 30+ years of annual and quarterly financial statements

- 80+ financial ratios and metrics

- Annual DCF

- Analyst Estimates

- Custom Financial Modeling

- Insider trading data

- Sentiment Analysis

- Peer Analysis

- etc.

We have a lot planned and will be expanding our datasets as we grow!
