Good. If we're going to have a Selective Service, it's long since past time that it should include everybody. Women are allowed to join the military, and there's no good reason to exclude them from a draft -- if we have one.
We probably shouldn't have one, but I suspect that getting rid of it will be hard, since it doesn't cost much and it's still there if somehow we should need it. If anything, perhaps those who oppose having women register for the draft would be more amenable to getting rid of the draft entirely if women are included.
Alternatively, the threat or actuality of women drafted and killed (as opposed to volunteers) could have an effect similar to MAD: people might be so put off by that, that there would be more friction to sending troops.
