The tweet is very vague. From the comments, it sounds like an AOT compiler. I'm not a huge fan of Sorbet but I'll keep an eye out for the upcoming compiler release.

I guess it could refer to JIT compiler.

Either way this is very interesting.

The main issue was relying on Ruby in production.
