My biggest fear when I got into writing apps was about security, especially if money and/or privacy were involved. I really, really didn't want to become a headline. Or read HN comments like "Didn't they know you have to install FlutherBlort? That's the first thing anybody knows. They're so stupid." I see those comments every time there's a break-in.
I see you have a Payments option. Do you think it'll be the case that the easy path is reasonably safe?
Hi @jfengel, thanks for mentioning your concerns. We try our very best to use the provided Api-s and documentation from the payment companies like Stripe, Razorpay etc. I believe they deal with security and vulnerabilities the most as they handle millions of dollars everyday and would take all necessary precautions & measures around it. Our job is to provide an interface for that connection. Main transaction happens on the Payment-Companies Servers. I believe it should not be a problem.

I love your idea. It is very fascinating and tbh I hoped that they are some of this kind of app while I was coding, you really saved a lot of time for many of us.
I'm Sahaj. Founder at Blup. We have created a desktop app that lets you make apps (Android & iOS) right inside it. Anyone with basic coding knowledge can build really insane level of apps with ease.
1. An intuitive UI designer that lets you make complex UI for multiple pages.
2. Visual-logics called BlupLightning, which help you to create complex logic, without the need to write them. The good thing about this is that it silently handles all the performance cases, bugs, platform-specific code, and a lot of boiler-plate code that you would have to write otherwise and saves a ton of time. As well as help those who are not proficient in Flutter or coding in general.
3. Optional fully pre-built backend system on top of AWS called BlupSheets. It takes care of all the inner working of a backend so you would not have to set it up and provides a simplified UI layer for anyone to easily create complex SQL queries over it.
4. Visual-logics comes with multiple nodes such as HTTP, file-system, UI-control, Flutter methods, Payments, Video/Audio Player, and a lot more to help you freely choose your own backend or use BlupSheets as per your requirements.
The reason we created Blup is to help entrepreneurs, developers, and designers to create apps without getting limited by coding but rather to focus on what they truly want to solve for their customers or clients.
I started working on Blup in Jan, last year after graduating from college in 2019. During college, I created a startup in the ed-tech space which unfortunately didn't work out. and that was when I realized that idea-to-app takes a lot of time(months) to build and due to that you can't build apps fast enough to go out in the market and if it fails, and you decide to work on any other ideas, you might have to make another app, taking further months building it. This seems too tedious to work on and has a high opportunity cost. This gave me a push to build something that can help me to make apps fast, let me focus more on UI/UX, and can take care of needy-greedy details of code on its own. So, a year later, working 90% solo on this idea, I present you Blup.
