Speaking of app icons, the official/original ones... they all look the same: a (more often than not) blue shape on a white background.
It's starting to become really difficult to find the right app to open, and it's not particularly aesthetically pleasing either. Brand and trademark directives notwithstanding I would almost go so far as to call it lazy.
I'm thankful for all these custom alternative icons to have been made available for free. Now if only there was a way to make them persist across app updates without having to resort to third party software.
