What is wrong with valuing life as sacred? When finance meets nature (inc. human animals), profit follows, and life is dimished. Sometimes I think money itself is evil as it hides exchange, this is certainly (often intentionally) true of derivatives. And money moving means people profitting from something (life) with infinite $ value.
ummm... isn't the love of money (greed) the root of all evil? So what is gained by spreading this evil yet further? Humans need to remember that although money has supplanted love as the currency of human society, love remains the true currency of all healthy relationships. It's greed that is poisoning the planet.
