Charello is a light and quick way to turn your database into charts. Once you add your connection, your charts are live and ready for your consumption. There's not much to customize or play with, and that's how it's intended to be. If you're looking for quick visualization with almost no configuration, you may find this useful.

Seems like this fits a different use case. Like providing live metrics to your users instead of an internal tool.

It’s not as flexible, doesn’t support self hosting and is way more expensive, I’ll stick with Grafana
