I loved my netbook, it was so very much lighter and easier to carry around than my older laptop, and the battery lasted a long time as well. I wanted more storage and RAM, but it was a great machine for the 45 minutes of sit down time each way too/from work on the train.

The thing that was so special is that it ran normal windows.

Still have an EeePC. Used to run NetBSD in the 500MB RAM.

I wiped the Windows partition to use for building distributions and releases but would love to know how to get a running version of Windows 7 again. Only complaint about EeePC is that it did not come with Windows installation CD.
