Might be worth to point to Terry Tao‘s post on MathOverflow about notation, as it seems to be missing in this collection.

I really appreciate the existence of different notations and wish they were more widely talked about. For example I spent a few months developing a notation for recurring timeslots before learning of RFC-5545[1]. Now whenever I'm in a new domain I wonder what notation already exists that I can leverage
