It's difficult to get traction here unless the project is already working. Wait until it's ready and post it again. (It is not necessary that it is perfect.)

I don't like only facebook signup :( .

The main problem I see is that it doesn't show any of the post when you are not logged in. Reddit an HN are very similar, and they show the post to attract lurkers. Hopefully lurkers become users.

It will be very hard to convince people to sing up if they can't see the posts.

I don't understand the part about 20 ingredients. It's 20 things in your refrigerator+cupboard, or 20 thing in each recipe?

We are excited to share with you Mealprime. As college students, we are obsessed with saving our time and tight wallet. That is why we built Mealprime.

Mealprime started as a Hackathon idea and now it has came to life. Mealprime generates your weekly meal plan, grocery list within a ~$5-6 budget and <= 20 main ingredients.

We still have a lot left to improve and we would love to hear your thought.

Built with by college students to promote social distancing,

Is 5 bucks really that cheap for a budget meal you did yourself? Similarly, 20 ingredients or less still sounds like too much effort.
