Why Apple doesn't require source code to publish the apps? Seems obviously better way to ensure compliance - not fool proof, but way better than random binaries?

In Salesforce land not only your source gets scrutinised but also your back-end (initial release only tho).

Cook mentioned this as a point in his interview w Swisher last week.

Knowing this evidence was in discovery, I wonder what Apple’s refutations will include.

I had thought Cook’s argument was that having one App Store, overseen by Apple, offered security of the platform as a whole.

Not that the present App Store security was water tight.

I guess better than just butter in a gunfight.
