So, there is no proof, only an opinion about a bad defined subject.

It looks like a very plausible explanation.

I don't get all this pursuit of consciousness. There isn't anything more to it than continuous stream of associations with feedback. Why would it be impossible for machine to talk to itself in similar manner?

Also many people don't really consciously contemplate stuff like "sometimes wonder if there might also exist a color that mixes the redness of red with the coolness of blue". If the "consciousness turing test" asks them to respond with such material, they would fail it.
