During 2020 I showed HN a new search engine which used topical icons for search criteria.

The feedback although positive raised the difficulty of finding more specific results, so I would like to show a new feature: Filter icons.

For example, if you select the GAMES icon then within the search engine result pages you can then filter results by PLAYSTATION & XBOX.
