Syntropy Stack – The Future of Programmable Networking (syntropystack.com)

Hi guys, i'm CTO of Syntropy. Currently we have open source elements like agents which need to be installed on clients endpoints as well as SDKs and other helper tools to use the platform. We endeavour to expand on our open source toolkit and involve + incentivise broader community to build as well. The SaaS controller is currently closed sourced as well as our routers. We're planning to follow a model similar to Terraform where main functionality and technology is fully open sourced and if you want to use the SaaS platform with additional functionality you use paid and enterprise accounts. We are also planning to deploy decentralized microservices to interact with open sourced agents in the future so some functionality can be used by decentralized systems themselves. You can find more information about the stack in our documentation page at https://docs.syntropystack.com/
Is this completely open sourced? I'm a bit confused by the join waitlist CTA, though sometimes OS offers hide a bit their github link to promote their paid hosted service, in the case of syntropy stack I can see the waitlist directly beside the github link though.
I do wish there were a "this is what it actually is" comment.
Second paragraph my eyes landed on when opening the link: "Create secure optimized connections with a few lines of code. Between servers or services running on any cloud or machine."

Sounds like an VPN to be used on servers for connection between services. Feels like a pretty easy to understand explanation of what it is.

Actually pretty neat to have tunnel configurations in code, not that you can't have that without syntropy, but it's a neat little feature.

tldr It’s a hosted control plane for Wireguard VPN nodes.
that is only 10 percent of functionality. Another features are service discovery (docker, k8, bare metal), link optimization, visibility and monitoring, SDK and Network as Code tooling, API to manage your service connectivity and more will come.
Like Tailscale then?
Any relation to Syntropy (www.syntropy.com), the joint venture between Palantir and Merck?
Just getting a 404 here.
hrm, have another look. Up on my end.
