Basically, we need methods to help us maintain our focus and attention while still having an real-time (but non-intrusive) method to communicate important tasks, questions, and details. This app is a great step in the right direction.
BTW i love writing slacks at like 4am when i can't sleep but i def don't want people to know that i am kinda crazy so i schedule them to send later ...thanks for making...cool to see you on Show HN...i think i was one of the early users!
When the scheduled message goes through, does that change your slack status to "active"? I wonder if people would think it was weird to see me looking like I was sending messages while offline.
You are not marked as active. So if you're pretending to be working while you're not, you may get caught. ;) Or it might be scary for people receiving ghost messages...
Great point, we'll have to look into changing this!
Really goes in line with this recent Wired article: https://www-wired-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.wired.com/s...
