I built Floward to better express and understand my emotions during this extremely challenging year. I’ve always been interested in journaling but found existing offerings a bit overwhelming and—as weird as this sounds—too feature-rich.

I needed a bare-bones, no-nonsense, text-focused journaling app that simply forced me to get my thoughts out. I built this over the last 3-4 weeks.

I’ve shared the app with a few of my friends, and it’s been helping us unlock and express our emotions.
