Have you been rejected from YC before?

Hi everyone, as a business student and future founder, I’ve noticed a substantial increase in the number of submissions to Y combinator, making it harder than ever to get accepted.

I’ve created a community for those who have been rejected from Y Combinator at some point to discuss financing opportunities, strategies to gain traction without funding, and share/receive overall support and advice.

If you’re interested, we’d love for you to be one of the first to join a soon-to-be powerful community! Click the link to check it out and join!

Love the idea! How could non-applicants get in touch with everyone to perhaps join their team?
Thank you! You are welcome to join the community to get to know and chat with others about potential opportunities :)
Just a minor note on the name, there are a ton of existing apps and products called "Rally" that are all mostly focused on video/voice chat stuff.

For example: rallychat.gg

What's the obsession with YC? Plenty of decent VCs out there that are fully competitive with this one.
most VCs won't deal with cold calls? I forget the source, someone was asking Sequoia if it wasn't discriminatory to only accept pitches from someone who was already not more than 1 introduction away from a partner (or some such).

they responded that it was perfectly natural to only want to talk to someone who had already made a name for themselves.

personally I'm thinking about getting in the game again, are there other VCs that you can just send a pitch to?
