who is the target demographic for such a service? it seems that if they can afford to pay x/n in n installments by y, then they could have just paid x on y
I guess the gigworker / food bev style jobs? Either way, monthly short term loans seems more predatory than beneficial. What's the rates they're charging? Any interest is bound to be impactful in these circumstances.
Generally, being in a situation where this would make sense, would generally fall in line with Pay day loans, which we know aren't the best idea in the long run.
