The Cory Doctorow weekly podcast reading can be legally downloaded here: http://boingboing.net/2008/01/13/podcast-of-bruce-ste.html
So exactly as described in the article which provides multiple links to the ebook?
I read this when I was a kid, will be interesting to reread and see how it's held up. I imagine some of it will seem quaint in retrospect.

Available online here: http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/webbin/gutbook/lookup?n...

I also read it as a kid and was highly influenced by it, especially the social and group dynamics in technology stuff. And yeah, it is dated, but I think it could still be a fun and interesting read now especially if you're interested in the history of the Internet.
I misread this as "Hacker Cracker", which is another nonfiction book about a kid growing up in the bed-stuy and gets into computer hacking.

Another very good read if you are into old-school hacker stories.

Slightly OT, but is there a modern eqivalent to 2600 or Phrack?

I mean, I find some interesting blog posts here and there, but these days I haven't been able to find a good quality, (relatively) frequently updated source of grey hat news/exploits etc.

2600 is still produced no?
Looks like it is. Aplologies. For some reason, a few years ago I was under the impression that they stopped publishing. I wonder why. Thanks. I've got some catching up to do.
They are both still produced. Phrack drops randomly ever so often. Last issue was released on 2016-05-06: http://www.phrack.org/issues/69/1.html
PoC||GTFO is my favorite of late...
Is this it [0] ? Even if not, this looks pretty good. Thanks.
