The article seems to mention this is for new submissions only, what about updates? Presumably these can be verified faster than new apps?

its been getting very quick lately, most of my submissions lately have been less than 4 days. But I can't confirm the 1 day review time yet.

The quickest I've ever had was about 8 hours, but that was an expedited review.
